He hails from the oil rich local Government Council of Udu, Delta State.
He was a pioneer Councillor in 1997, a Vice Chairman of Udu local Government Council in 1999 and later contested for the revered Council Chairmanship seat which he won landslide in 2008.
The Chairman of the Delta State Micro,Small & Medium Enterprises was appointed a Member of the Delta State Executive Council Member as Commissioner for Special Duties by His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa in his first term as Governor of Delta State in 2015 who later re-appoited him as Commissioner for Special projects in his (Okowa ‘s 2nd term in office) in 2019. laudable land mark projects that he undertook that placed him on the world map was the Construction of the Five Star -Multi Billion Naira Delta State Secretariat Complex, named after Prof. Chike Edozien, the Asagba of Asaba along Mariam Babangida Way Asaba, Delta State, that was Commissioned in 2021 by His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, former Vice President of Nigeria.
