Helen Obiageli Ikeh Esq., (nee Okonkwo) is an Honourable Member of the Board of Delta State Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency which was inaugurated on the 10th of May 2024; by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Delta State – Hon. Sheriff Oborovweri. By this appointment, she is the Member representing the Delta North Senatorial District.
Prior to her appointment as a member of the aforestated Board, Helen Obiageli Ikeh Esq. (nee Okonkwo), had served both in the Public and Private Sectors. She is a seasoned Legal Practitioner called to the Nigerian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, in the year 1984.
After her call, she engaged in Legal practice with notable Law firms; amongst which, is the Firm of Messrs Abraham Adesanya and Co; in the year 1992.
She later veered into the Educational Sector as an entrepreneur by establishing the prestigious Bramber International School, Asaba, Delta State, in 1999.
Her trajectory into Public Service commenced with her appointment in September 2000 as a Chief Magistrate by the Delta State Judiciary, High Court Department. She rose very quickly and won many laurels for efficiency and dedication to duty.
She worked in Chief Magisterial capacity in the following districts: Asaba, Ubulu-Uku and Effurun. She also worked in administrative capacity as Deputy Chief Registrar (Litigation) and later as Deputy Chief Registrar (Administration).
She also sat in the Environmental Sanitation Mobile court, as well as the Mobile Court for the Enforcement of COVID -19 Protocols.

Helen Obiageli Ikeh Esq. (nee Okonkwo) retired from active service in November 2021 after a meritorious service. She is, no doubt, an all-rounder who believes in diversification of knowledge/interest alongside self-development; as a means to service delivery, little wonder she added yet another feather to her cap by becoming a member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICarb) at a time when Nations of the world are embracing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
