Dr. Godwin Ununotovo Adolor, a multi task personality is a core banking and finance professional with about 30 years working experience in the banking and finance industry where he served as an Officer and rose to become a Regional Manager. Some of the banks he worked includes: Nigerian Bank for Commerce and Industry, FSB International Bank Plc, NNB International Bank Plc, Universal Trust Bank Plc, Union Bank Plc and Ecobank Nigeria Limited and had responsibilities for Branches/Area/Regional management, business development/ advisory services, operations, investment, lending and credit administration to Small, Medium and large scale businesses, international trade and finance, mortgage banking etc. He retired from banking in 2014 and went into private business and currently an entrepreneurial and legal consultant in business Startups and Sustenance.
Dr. Adolor attended University of Benin, Benin City, Delta State University Abraka , Atlantic International University, Honolulu Hawai, USA, Nigerian Law School, Nigerian College of Accountancy Jos and obtained educational and professionnal qualifications of Ph.D (Finance) specializing in corporate financial governance. M.Sc (Banking & Finance, B.Sc(Accounting), LLB, BL. In order to broaden his knowledge in area of business leadership, he registered as a student, and currently studying for another Doctorate Degree in Business Leadership at the Delta State University Abraka. Business School.
He is a highly certified professional in several fields of human endeavor, which includes: Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB), Member, The Chartered Institute ofCredit Management London, (MCICM), Associate, The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI), Associate, National Accountants of Nigeria, (CNA), Fellow Institute of Management Consultants Nigeria/Certified Management Consultant, FIMC/CMC a Solicitor & Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria,(BL). He was a member of the Governing Council of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria for four (4) years (2020-2024)
Dr. Godwin Adolor is founder and was the Managing Solicitor Westministers Law Chambers and also the Managing Consultant of Preswin Consulting as well as Group Chairman of Preswin Nigeria Limited, a private company founded by him which is a medium scale water bottling;
packaging films/shopping bags, paper products manufacturing and consultancy.
Through his businesses, he has been able to employ over a 100 staff thereby helping to reduce unemployment in Nigeria. Dr. Godwin Adolor as entrepreneurial consultant in Micro, Small & Medium Scale Enterprises has to his credit 50 MSMEs in Nigeria he conducted feasibilities,
established and sustained which have lasted for between 10-20 years. He was a consultant the Delta State Job Creation Bureau assisting in building capacities for entrepreneurs created by the agency. He has attended many courses in and outside Nigeria in Finance, business development, entrepreneurship, MSME, management and leadership. Before his current appointment as Executive Secretary in the Delta State Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises Development Agency (DEMSMEDA) he was between 2016-2023 appointed into the Board of the Delta State Investments Development Agency (DIDA) and Senior Special Assistant on Investment to the Governor by the immediate past governor of Delta State, Senator.Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa to bring his wealth of industry experience in banking and finance, manufacturing, entrepreneurial and legal consultancy into investments development. Dr. Godwin Adolor now brings into the Board of Delta State Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (DEMSMEDA) his wealth of experience in finance, business development, manufacturing, investments, etc into wealth creation and sustenance of MSMEs for Delta State.
He is widely travelled to major countries in several continents of the world. He is happily
married and the marriage is blessed with children.
