MANDATES
1.The Delta State Micro, Small and Medium
Enterprises Development Agency (DEMSMEDA)’s mandate is aimed at promoting and
coordinating the development of MSMEs in the State.
2.Facilitate strategic Agricultural and MSMEs financing system through provision of grants and loan disbursement.
3.Provide capacity building and advisory consultancy services to MSMEs by State and Federal Government Agencies as well as other donor agencies.
3.To facilitate, encourage and support the extension of financial services to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the State, and help provide guarantees for Micro credits, small and medium enterprises financing.

CONDITOONAL LOAN SCHEME (CLS)
This is created with the aim of giving loans to SMEs for support of their businesses and workforce and to ensure that they can procure equipment for business growth and development. The loan is with a single digit interest. The programme is designed for all SMEs across the State. The beneficiaries of the Loan scheme receives financial assistant ranging from N500,000 to N5,000,000
CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
Providing entrepreneurial capacity building and empowerment for artisans, skilled and unskilled workforce like tailors, hairdressers, welders, cassava processing, aqua-culture farmers, etc.
